When it came time for the first cleaning of my new carpet I hired a local service. They "cleaned" my two story house and my furniture in less than two hours, my carpet was stiff , and then the chemicals made my dog sick and he had skin lesions! So I bought my own machine , and though I was pleased with the machine I was not happy with the cleaning products that came with it. So, I searched for something that was not petroleum based so that the carpet would not get soiled again so easily. I found Protect Carpet Cleaning Products on the "net" and thought I would give it a try. I loved it! It makes my carpet clean and bright, it is great at removing stains, and does not leave my carpet stiff. It is easy to use and my carpets don't seem to soil again as easily as other products have caused. My dog stays healthy too! I would recommend it , so give it a try! We purchased expensive carpet two years ago for our entire home. I wanted to shampoo it but was afraid to buy just any carpet cleaner in the stores. After talking to carpet sales people and carpet manufactures as to what would be the best cleaner they all agreed I should only use a ( non petroleum- non soap) base cleaner. I started searching the net and found Protect Carpet Cleaning. I bought their Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner  and used it in my steam vacuum. Not only did the carpets look like new, they also felt and smelled like the day it was installed. Its been three months since I cleaned my carpets and they still look like I just did them.  I'm very happy and totally satisfied with this product. I've used lots of others in the past and never got the results I did with theirs. I will continue to use this carpet cleaner in the future.  MY HOME SMELLED GREAT!!!
