We had chewing gum ground into the fibers of the low-pile,
commercial grade carpet in our office. The gum remained
in the rug for some time since I had tried several methods
of removing it, all to no avail. As a result, the chewing
gum became deeply ground into the fibers of the carpet--right
in the middle of a highly-visible area. In search of
a solution, I happened upon your web site; and I ordered
the carpet cleaner and solvent. Once received, I poured
a few drops of the solvent over the chewing gum, let
it set for a few minutes, then, as directed, moved the
fibers of the carpet from side to side with a blunt
object without scrubbing (I should also mention that
the solvent had a wonderfully clean, non-toxic smell).
As I was doing that, I could literally see the gum dissolve!
